Unbelievably good experience with Dave Jardine. He came out to estimate a job on a unique HVAC system (aquatherm by First Co.) and ended up personally repairing the problem on the spot. Others had previously suggested replacing the whole system at $10,000+. We ended up with a service call charge ... and they have a customer for life.

When I hired them to change my whole heating system: boiler and water heater they actually sent 4 people over to make sure the job was done the same day. The last man, George, who is nothing short of a heating wizard left after 7 pm. Over 10 hours after he started that morning. The job was clean, the men were polite and courteous and the system works GREAT..... All my questions were answered precisely and honestly. Every time I hire a contractor to do something at the house I have bad luck and something goes wrong. This time around that didn't happen. Quite the opposite in fact. Very happy with the service and equipment I got from them.

Our basement has some old, irregular plumbing. When the outflow began to back up we called Archie Horn & Son Ltd. They accommodated us early the next day. The job ended up requiring two plumbers who worked quietly and effectively to solve the problem. Afterwards, Chris kindly explained the nature of the problem and how they collaborated to work around some of the irregularities. They cleaned up their work spaces well and capped a couple of potentially troublesome elements in the system. The cost was below what we expected, particularly as the work required two experts. We would recommend Archie Horn & Son Ltd. to anyone in need of residential plumbing repair.
